Welcome to PublishMate (operated by RAD Infotech & RADemics (RAD Group)). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the confidential scholarly research, personal identity, and communication data you entrust to us.

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

PublishMate's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We only request read-only access (gmail.readonly) to identify emails from academic publishers related to your manuscript tracking IDs.
  • We do not read, process, or store personal or unrelated correspondence.
  • We do not use your Google email data to serve advertisements or train artificial intelligence foundation models.
  • We do not transfer or disclose your email data to third parties, except as strictly required to process peer review rebuttal matrices as explicitly requested by you.

1. Information We Collect

When you use PublishMate, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Account Data: Name, academic email address, affiliated institution, and optional persistent identifiers (such as ORCID iD).
  • Manuscript Content: Draft text, section breakdowns, figures, citations, target journal selections, and manuscript tracking identifiers submitted to our diagnostics engine.
  • Publisher Communication Data: With your explicit OAuth consent, we scan your incoming emails specifically filtering for whitelisted academic publisher domains (e.g., Nature, IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley) to detect decision notices, reviewer comments, and revision deadlines.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected strictly for the scholarly assistance services requested by you:

  • Conducting section-by-section academic compliance audits against target journal author guidelines.
  • Parsing editorial decision letters and structuring reviewer critiques into an interactive rebuttal matrix.
  • Tracking real-time submission progression stages without requiring manual copy-pasting.
  • Generating formatted rebuttal packages and publication audit certificates.

3. Data Retention and Security

All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 encryption and stored in secure PostgreSQL databases with AES-256 encryption at rest. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted using dedicated cryptographic keys.

You may disconnect your Google or Outlook account at any time via Settings ➔ Integrations, which immediately invalidates and deletes your cached tokens from our systems.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your research or email data. We only share data with service providers directly involved in providing the service under strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Compliance with India's DPDP Act, 2023 & Global Data Rights
